- Key Highlights – RSCDS Branch Mailing (Early 2024)
Membership Growth: RSCDS has ~9,400 members and expects to reach 10,000 by June. Branches like Sacramento, Atlanta, and Bristol have shown increases. - Governance Vacancies: Nominations open for multiple Board and Committee roles; deadline: 7 September 2024.
- Virtual Teachers’ Conference: Runs 26 Feb – 1 Mar 2024, with daily video content sent to subscribed teachers.
- Family Weekend Plans: Expression of interest invited for a new family event in the UK for young dancers (under 18).
- Engagement with Scottish Government: RSCDS to be listed in the global Scottish organisations directory; branches can participate.
- New Membership Fees (from 1 July 2024): Adult single: £28; joint: £45; young adult: £22; youth: £14.
- Magazine Update: Push to switch to digital version to reduce environmental impact and high postage/print costs.
- Key Highlights – RSCDS Branch Mailing
New Member Booklet: Now available for download to welcome and support new members. - Sponsor a Musician: Branches can sponsor a musician to attend the 2024 Summer School Musicians’ Course (20% discount available).
- Governance Vacancies: Nominations open for Board and Committee roles; deadline: 7 September 2024.
- Warm-Up Resource Update: Old RSCDS warm-up guide removed; updated electronic version coming by end of 2024.
- Constitutional Support: Panel available to advise on branch constitutions and governance; revised constitutions must be submitted for approval.
- Youth Engagement Survey: Open until 31 May 2024 – branches encouraged to share widely with young members.
- New Project – Dance Around the World: Launched by Membership Services Committee; more info to come.

- Open for applications.
